.. but what is this nonsense? (see #182651) - Cyclists Dismount sign where cars are obviously free to move around - on the way to new cycle parking in a car park just off Causewayhead, Penzance. (And why so far above the ground?)
NCN route 3 continues ahead, cyclists turning right to Penzance station are supposed to dismount to cross a car park.
Cyclists not welcome on this farm - this would be a good route from Devoran to Carnon Downs and Truro
Misleading sign - the only cyclists who would rejoin the carriageway are those who want to stay on the A3047 Treleigh bypass for some reason - most will obviously keep left to go through the village.
Cyclists Dismount signs on the bridge over the A30, Camborne - pointless, as the width doesn't change.
The dead-end road is narrowed to a single lane here, but they still felt it necessary to put up Cyclists Dismount signs.
At last the roadworks (with Cyclists Dismount and go somewhere unspecified signs) on the A30 have finished and there's a new rail/bus interchange - cyclists are told to dismount to cross to the station, and there's no indication at all that ... [more]
The Pedestrian Zone sign seems bizarre, but the road to the right would be traffic-free if the rising bollards were working.
Unenforceable nonsense in Mevagissey - cars are allowed to reach the parking, but cycling isn't allowed?
No Cycling sign in a car park on what should be the obvious link to a riverside extension of NCN route 32 (the Camel Trail)
No Cycling on a car park access road? Ridiculously negative attitude in Wadebridge, where this would be the obvious link to a riverside extension of the Camel Trail.
Why does British traffic engineering require so many negative 'End of Cycle Route' signs? This is wrong anyway, just before a toucan crossing and a cycle link to the right.
There's no reason why cyclists shouldn't use the upper path from the Padstow war memorial - the lower path is far too busy with pedestrians though.
It would be good if this link to Padstow church and Link Road (NCN32) could be marked as a through route for cyclists.
Padstow loves the Camel Trail, but they don't much like cycling - cyclists are expected to walk through a car park to the Camel Trail, but is there any similar advice or restrictions for drivers? Of course not.
Padstow loves the Camel Trail, but they don't much like cycling - on the direct link to Padstow Cycle Hire

We wouldn't have to dismount if the dropped kerb was in the right place, we could just contine on the road like normal human beings. Why do British cycle routes get chopped up into these isolated portions/
Of course it's not the end of the cycle route, it's just a point from which you have to cycle on the road like a normal human being. Why do British traffic engineers have this irrestistible urge to make cycling on roads seem wrong?
End of token shared-use path, funded by the Sainsburys on the site of the much-lamented heliport - why on earth not encourage cyclists to continue?
Notice posted by First Great Western and therefore totally ignoring all other services eg Cross Country.
It seems that surfers, like cyclists, suffer similar kinds of unwelcoming rules as to which trains they can take their equipment on board. But this information notice at Newquay Station has generated some chatter. Apparently First Great ... [more]
